Mugginess and uncooperative glitter.
Ok,
I am at a festival that is on a pier to a beach.
The humidity is through the rough and even though it is threatining to rain, it doesn't.
Small blessing.....
still, everyone in wet with sweet and even though i am alcohol swabbing a large area and letting it dry the glitter is STICKING everywhere.
When I apply the glitter to the glue on the body is gets stuck everywhere and my brush does NOTHING to remove it. NOTHING!
I start leaving the stencil on and it is a bit better but still only a few spakin reveals
1. On a regular day do you apply the glitter before or after you remove the stencil
2. On a humid day, what is your plan of attack.

It's nearly always hot and humid here - we are in the middle of the worst winter we have had in 30 years and still the humidity can get up to 80% some days... I never take the stencil before applying the glitter. It's the only way I have found to stop it going everywhere.
If it does happen to stick to skin where it shouldn't be I use my spray bottle from my FP kit and spray down their arm and wipe it off with my towel.
It works a treat..... BUT make sure the tat is completely dry before you do this.

we should charge extra in the summer it's brutal between figuring out how to have things stick to the kids and sweating working outside. I'm working a camp everyday TG there's air conditioning!
Re: Mugginess and uncooperative glitter.
I have a fillable blush brush with cornstarch in it...a light dusting usually sufficiently dries the skin to allow the bristles to dislodge the errant glitter...
You can explain to the customer that the glitter is stuck to their sweat and will rinse away or fall off as soon as they can get dry. I usually keep my tatt application pretty localized and I swab a larger area than is needed so the glitter will at least get stuck everywhere but near the tatt. lol
